BUiD- The British University in Dubai is the Middle East’s first research based, postgraduate university offering a unique opportunity for higher education. CIB- CIB is the International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction providing a global network for international exchange and cooperation in research and innovation in building and construction.  CIB supports improvements in building processes and in the performance of the built environment.  The CIB Programme covers technical, economic, environmental, organisational and other aspects of the built environment during all stages of its life cycle.  CIB addresses all steps in the process of basic and applied research, documentation and transfer of research results, and the implementation and actual application of them in practice.

W112 is the specialist Working Commission of CIB researching culture within the construction industry worldwide.  The current main activity involves researching the nature of national cultures and the cultures in various sectors of the construction industry in order that an “inventory of Culture in Construction” may be produced to both inform further research and to assist practitioners operating across national and sectoral borders.

CICE - The Centre for Innovative and Collaborative Engineering (CICE) is a Centre of Excellence committed to advanced training and research in Engineering and Management.  At the core of our operations is the prestigious Engineering Doctorate (EngD) programme, which is designed to produce doctoral graduates that can drive innovation in the engineering industry with the highest level of technical, managerial and business competence. The programme is geared towards providing innovative solutions to challenging industry problems and is open to graduates in any branch of engineering or applied science.
