Overview of the Conference

The 2008 Conference will focus on the MOT in knowledge economy.  Economies around the world are looking at diversification and one of the sectors that figures quite prominently in most of these national diversification strategies is diversifying into knowledge sector.  The Conference will give special attention to innovations, opportunities and threats in creating and managing knowledge economy.  Best practices in technology management in order to support a knowledge economy and the role of academic institutions in preparing the needed human resources for the technological environment of the 21st century will be presented.
