BUiD holds its fourth Doctoral Research Conference
The fourth BUiD Doctoral Research Conference was held on Saturday 4 May 2019 at BUiD’s Campus. The day began with an introduction by Prof. Abdullah Alshamsi, BUiD’sVice Chancellor, and then a keynote presentation by Prof Dejan Mumovic who delivered an engaging overview of the PhD journey.
BUiD’s PhD students participated in the conference and 74 papers were presented. Prizes were awarded for the best poster overall and best conference papers in Architecture and Sustainable Built Environment, Project Management, Business Management, Education and Computer Science.
Feedback received from students and staff has been very positive and the quality of presentations was remarked upon by UK colleagues.
