BUiD’s academic staff publishes a book on common law constitutional rights

Dr Christina Lienen, Assistant Professor of Public Law at BUiD, published her book, “Shaped by the Nuanced Constitution: A Critique of Common Law Constitutional Rights”, with Hart Publishing (Bloomsbury) on 20 April 2023. The book highlights and re-conceptualises the dynamics and mechanisms of constitutional law adjudication and provides the first comprehensive critique of common law constitutional rights jurisprudence. It is centred around extensive case law analysis which focuses predominantly on recent UK Supreme Court judgments.
