BUiD’s Director of the Centre for Research in Digital Education participates in a conference held at the Luxembourg Pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020
Dr Tendai Charles, Director of the Centre for Research in Digital Education, delivered a talk titled, ‘Does hybrid learning work in Dubai’s education sector?’, ‘Humanities and the rise of AI: Implications of Cultural and Societal Engineering’ international conference which was held at the Luxembourg Pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020. In his talk, Dr Charles presented the challenges and solutions for Dubai-based schools and universities who have adopted the hybrid learning model.
The conference was organised by the University of Luxembourg in cooperation with United Arab Emirates University, The British University in Dubai and the New York University Abu Dhabi. It explored explore the future of digital teaching and learning, whether hybrid learning will work in the UAE’s education sector, and AI’s impact on media and arts.
