BUiD’s Professor wins ‘Best Technical Implementation in AI’ award at the Future Data Summit and Awards 2023

On 9 March 2023, Professor Khaled Shaalan, Head of Computer Science programmes, won an award at the Future Data Summit and Awards 2023 for the best technical implementation in AI category.

He is a distinguished researcher and academic in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP). He has made significant contributions to these fields through his research work, publications, and development of tools and resources.

The Future Data Summit brought together senior leaders in data management and best practices to discuss data transparency, data management, and observable advantages including quality, compliance, governance, security, control over data, effective decision-making, and client trust.
