The British University in Dubai hosts the 17th European, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern Conference on Information Systems
The British University in Dubai in collaboration with the University of Nicosia organised the 17th European, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern Conference on Information Systems (EMCIS 2020) on 25-26 November 2020.
The conference which was held online received more than 50 research papers from around the world, topics were discussed through different session that included Big Data and Analytics, Blockchain Technology and Applications, Management and Organisational Issues in Information Systems , Digital Services and Social Media, IT Governance and Alignment, Enterprise Systems, Healthcare Information Systems, Innovative Research Projects, and Information Systems Security and Information Privacy Protection.
The EMCIS is an annual research conference, which addresses the Information Systems (IS) regionally and globally. It aims to bring together researchers, academics, and professionals from around the world to exchange innovative ideas covering technical, organisational, business and social issues in the application of information technology.
