A delegate from University of Leeds visits The British University in Dubai

A delegate from University of Leeds visited The British University in Dubai (BUiD) to finalise a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a joint Master of Science (MSc) programme in Project Management.

The proposed MSc in Project Management will aim to equip graduates with the advanced knowledge and practical skills required to excel in the dynamic field of project management. The collaboration between the two institutions will leverage the expertise and resources of both universities, providing students with a world-class educational experience.

The University of Leeds delegation including Professor Christine Unterhitzenberger, Director of Leeds Center of Projects, Dr Luca Sabini, Associate Professor in Project Management, and Mr. Matthew Butler, International Partnerships Officer, engaged in intensive meetings with Dean of Research, Deans of Faculties, and Programme Coordinators. These discussions focused on the curriculum development, delivery structure, and accreditation process for the proposed joint programme.

additionally, teams from both institutions held extensive discussions bodies with the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA). A productive meeting also took place with representatives from the Project Management Institute (PMI) UAE Chapter, highlighting the programme’s alignment with industry best practices and professional standards.
