Two of BUiD’s students win best paper award
Two of BUiD’s PhD students won best paper award at the Graduate Students Research Conference 2019 (GSRC) held at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi. BUiD students did exceptionally well by winning best paper in two of the five academic streams.
Joe Hazzam won 1st place and best paper award in the Business and Management Track for his paper “Co-creation of value in the digital age: the role of customer engagement and social media activities”
Maqsoud Kruse won 1st place and best paper award in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Track for his paper “Can neuroimaging identify giftedness? An exploratory experimental study.”

The main purpose of the GSRC is to provide opportunities for graduate students to share their research work amongst themselves, receive scholarly feedback, and network professionally.
