BUiD academic staff presents at Webster University’s TESOL Conference
Dr. Tendai Charles, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Education, represented BUiD as an invited keynote speaker at Webster University for their TESOL Conference “Leading the Change: Reframing TESOL for Global Learners”, which took place on Friday 10th October 2025 in Tashkent – Uzbekistan. In his speech titled, “Strategic Foresight in TESOL: Designing Policy, Pedagogy, and Assessment for Language Learning in 2030”, Dr Charles summarised 50 years’ worth of innovations in the TESOL classroom and addressed future trends such as the potential role which Meta AI glasses can play in second language acquisition.
