BUiD associate Professor of Education presents at the 5th International Conference on Educational Technology (ICET 2025)
Dr Emad A. S. Abu-Ayyash, Associate Professor of Education and MEd Programme Coordinator, gave a presentation titled “Uncovering Assumptions about Technology in Education” at the 5th International Conference on Educational Technology (ICET 2025), Chongqing, China, on 28 September 2025. The speech addressed the significance of reflecting on the real value of integrating technology into postgraduate classrooms. It specifically addressed the assumptions learners may have about the value of using technology in presentations. The speech highlighted that such assumptions may lead to flaws in peer evaluation when compared to objective assessments of presentations.
