BUiD Professor wins Best Presentation Award
Dr. Emad Abu-Ayyash, Assistant Professor of Education at BUiD won the Best Presentation Award at the XIII ICLLL 2019: International Conference on Languages, Literature and Linguistics conference. His winning paper titled “Context and Culture in EFL Learners’ and Native Speakers’ Discourses” explored the functions of exophoric and homophoric cohesive devices in EFL learners’ essays and professional NS writers’ articles about the same topic. The conference, which was held in Bali, Indonesia on 24 October 2019, aimed to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Languages, Literature and Linguistics.
