BUiD Professors win the 2019 Emerald Literati Awards
BUiD Professors won the 2019 Emerald Literati Awards for their articles published by Emerald Publishing in the areas of Facilities, Managerial Finance, and Educational Management.
The article ‘ Emerging financial risks from climate changes on building assets in the UK ‘ ,co-authored by Prof. Halim Boussabaine, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law and Dr. Khalid Almarri, Associate Professor of Project Management at BUiD has won the Outstanding Paper Award.
Prof. Husam Malkawi, Professor of Finance , Head of MSc Finance Programme article , “Corporate social responsibility and financial performance in Saudi Arabia: Evidence from Zakat contribution , and Prof. Stephen Wilkins article ‘Transnational higher education: the importance of institutional reputation, trust and student-university identification in international partnerships’, were selected as Highly Commended articles in the 2019 Emerald Literati Awards
