BUiD restructures its PhD programmes to align with international academic standards
In a move to align with international academic standards, the university has restructured its PhD programmes based on the British model. Under the new structure, students will focus on research skills training in the first year before they start working on their thesis in the second year. This approach ensures a strong foundation in research methodology, enabling students to undertake high-quality doctoral research with greater confidence and clarity. The PhD programmes under the new structure are PhD in Education, PhD in Engineering Management, PhD in Business Management, PhD in project Management, PhD in Computer Science, PhD in Law and PhD in Sustainable Built Environments.
