BUiD students participate in the Academic Training Programme in Dundee, Scotland
Four of BUiD’s postgraduate students were among 59 female students from 13 universities from the UAE, Egypt and Malaysia who participated in the 29th Academic Training Programme (ATP) in Multiculturalism and Leadership Skills at the Al Maktoum College of Higher Education.
During the four-week programme, students attended lectures and were involved in debates on multiculturalism, international politics, globalisation, leadership and dialogue of civilisations. The training programme aimed to prepare the participants for professional administrative and leadership roles.
The graduation ceremony, which was held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance, and patron of the College, was attended by Lord Provost Ian Borthwich, Dundee, Murray Elder, Member of House of Commons, Mirza Al-Sayegh, Chairman of the College, members of the board and representatives of the participating universities.
