BUiD’s academic staff and students participate in the ICSEAT conference
Dr Wael Sheta, Assistant Professor -Sustainable Design of the Built Environment programme, and two students on the PhD Sustainable Built Environments programme, Byan Aldeeri and Khaloud Almezeini participated in the 2nd International Conference on Science, Engineering and Advanced Technology (ICSEAT 2024).
The 3 papers in the conference were ‘Towards Cooler Streets: Analyzing Urban Heat Stress to Foster Walkable Communities in Dubai’ by Dr Wael Sheta , ‘Enhancing Indoor Air Quality Standards in Abu Dhabi Restaurants: Evaluation and Implications’ by Byan Aldeeri, and ‘Passive Country House Design in the United States’ by: Khaloud Almezeini.
The conference was organised by the Gulf University in the Kingdom of Bahrain on the 8th and the 9th of May 2024. The conference aimed to provide a leading forum for the presentation of new advances and research results in the fields of Science, Engineering and Technology. The Conference brought together leading researchers, engineers, and scientists in the area of interest from around the world.
