BUiD’s professor leads BUiD STEM team at Expo 2020
Professor Sufian Forawi, led BUiD STEM team along with Heba Chaya and Tamir Forawi. The event was held at Dubai Cares Pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020. The BUiD STEM Sustainable event aimed to provide STEM activities for high school students to increase their knowledge of science, technology, engineering and mathematics and develop related skills and interests of related majors/careers for STEM and sustainable environment. Four sessions were provided to engage a total of 60 students who participated in the activities that included ‘Building Ecosystems,’ ‘Pendulum Motion,’ and ‘Crystallisation. The event was enjoyed and well received by students and their accompanying teachers.
