BUiD’s Student selected as a member of the Youth Council
Waheed Almasri, student on the MSc in Sustainable Design of the Built Environment at BUiD, was selected as a member of the Youth Council formed by the UAE Society of Engineers in the role of Strategic Planner and Media Coordinator. Waheed has participated in multiple events in the UAE and abroad and was selected for his active role in promoting sustainability.
The Youth council was formed to empower the young engineers and give them the opportunity to create their own innovative initiatives and to highlight the importance of cooperation and partnership with local and international organisations that support young engineers.
All Youth Councils are formed under the Federal Youth Authority to empower young people.
