PhD in Education thesis defence conducted completely online at BUiD
Ikrame Sbai, studying for a PhD in Education, successfully passed her thesis defence in a viva voce exam, which was held entirely online yesterday, 6 April 2020. She defended her thesis via video conference with internal and external examiners in the UAE and South Africa. In her thesis, Ikrame investigated the messages and values in the images of the UAE Ministry of Education Arabic language and Moral Education textbooks for G1 to G4.
BUiD is operating entirely online and this is the second viva voce exam to be conducted completely online. BUiD has scheduled more viva voce exams to be conducted online in April and May– we wish all of our students success in them and congratulation to Ikrame.
