PhD theses defence conducted completely online at BUiD
To ensure the continuity of the PhD research by our doctoral students and to enable them to complete their PhD requirements, BUiD has scheduled viva voce exams to be conducted online. On 1 June, Saada Khadragy, studying for a PhD in Computer Science, successfully passed her thesis defence in a viva voce exam, which was held online. She defended her thesis via video conference with internal and external examiners in the UAE and the United Kingdom. In her thesis, Saada discussed data analytics and adaptive network-based fuzzy inference system for prediction of computer science graduates’ employability.
On 3 June, Aida Younis, studying for a PhD in Education has also successfully passed her viva voce exam which was held online with internal and external examiners in the UAE and the Netherlands. In her theses, Aida explored twice-exceptionality in Dubai private schools.
BUiD has scheduled more viva voce exams to be conducted online in June – we wish all of our students success in them
