The British University in Dubai and University of Oslo Sign Memorandum of Understanding
The Faculty of Education at The British University in Dubai (BUiD) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Special Needs Education at the University of Oslo (UiO) in Norway, marking a new step towards strengthening academic and research collaboration between the two institutions.
The MoU was signed on 26 August 2026 at the University of Oslo by Prof. Eman Gaad, Dean of the Faculty of Education at BUiD, and Prof. Rolf Vegar Olsen, Head of the Department of Special Needs Education at the University of Oslo and witnessed by Prof. Luca Tateo.
The agreement provides a framework for collaboration in teaching, research and community service, with both institutions seeking opportunities to work together on activities and projects aligned with their strategic objectives.
Through this collaboration, BUiD and the University of Oslo will foster opportunities for knowledge exchange, research cooperation and academic engagement, supporting the development of new ideas and research-based solutions in education.
The partnership reflects BUiD’s continued commitment to building international academic collaborations and advancing research and knowledge exchange in the field of education.
