Construction Law and Arbitration

Recently, the UAE enacted the Credit Bearing Micro-credentials (CBMCs) Policy 2022, “designed to provide the [student] with QF Emirates-approved strands of learning outcomes that respond to societal, personal and labour market needs.” In line with that policy, BUiD is introducing two law-related micro-credential courses namely, micro-credential in construction law and contracts, and micro-credential in arbitration to complement and supplement the existing MSC in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution. The courses are designed for “upskilling, reskilling, and supporting continual professional development” of professionals who for one reason or another, cannot commit to the MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution programme. The courses offer students a flexible and tailored learning pathway aimed at enhancing their employability by providing them with the opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills and competences they need for their personal and professional development.
