Overview

AI is transforming the future of education. This course helps educators integrate AI tools into teaching practice, prepare students for the digital future, and foster critical digital literacy in classrooms. In this 3-module series, we’ll explore the fundamentals of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in educational settings. These modules are designed for complete beginners who are keen to learn about generative AI, what it is, how it works and its potential role in your classroom or school.

These modules will be entirely self-paced and online, allowing you to engage at your own pace. They will include recorded videos, animated resources, readings and exploration activities, and hands-on activities (including designing a simple generative AI project relevant to your teaching context).

Who is this course designed for?

Teachers, school leaders, curriculum developers, and EdTech coordinators at the primary and secondary level.

Eligibility Criteria
  • No prior experience or understanding of generative AI is needed for this short course.
    You will need access to an Internet-connected device.
  • Open to all K-12 educators and school staff with basic digital proficiency.
