The BUiD Doctoral Research Conference (2026) invites all BUiD students to submit their full papers by 6th April 2026.

This conference call is open to all BUiD students and students of partner universities.

Overview   

The 10th BUiD Doctoral Research Conference (BDRC) marks a decade of advancing doctoral and interdisciplinary research, offering a platform for researchers to present high-quality work and engage with emerging academic and societal trends.

Held in a hybrid format, the conference brings together scholars and practitioners to reflect on past achievements and explore future research directions.

KEY DATES

Paper Submission Deadline: 20th April 2026

Paper Acceptance Notification: 15th May 2026

Presentation Submission Deadline: 10th June 2026

Conference Date: 20th June 2026

General Guidelines:
  • Abstracts should be no more than 250 words and must provide a clear overview of the research objectives, methodology, and key findings.
  • Full papers should be in English, no more than 4000 words (including references), adhering to the prescribed formatting guidelines.
  • All submissions will undergo a rigorous review process to ensure quality and relevance.
  • Accepted papers will have the opportunity for presentation during dedicated sessions or inclusion in the conference proceedings.

BEST PAPER WILL BE AWARDED TO IN-PERSON PRESENTATIONS ONLY.

Eligibility & Benefits

— All BUID students are eligible to participate (senior undergraduate students are encouraged to participate)

— Students from partner universities are also encouraged to participate

— Conference participation is free of charge & best paper awards will be given

— All qualifying papers will be published in Scopus indexed proceedings
