Short Bio

Dr. Kolo is an Associate Professor at the British University in Dubai, an Associate at the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law & Policy, University of Dundee, United Kingdom, and was a visiting professor at the Centre for Energy Economics and Petroleum Law, University of Ibadan, Nigeria (2013-2017). Before joining BUiD, he was a Senior Lecturer at CEPMLP.  Dr Kolo did his PhD at the University of Dundee, and his LLM at the University of Warwick, Coventry in the United Kingdom. He has a substantial experience in teaching at the postgraduate level and research in the field of international investment law, oil and gas law, arbitration and dispute resolution. His publications cover a wide range of issues, including international arbitration, international investment law, and oil and gas law. Dr. Kolo is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
