Short Bio

Dr. Alexandria Proff is an Associate Professor of Educational Leadership at the British University in Dubai, where she teaches and supervises across management, leadership, and policy in postgraduate programmes (MEd and PhD). She has led large multidisciplinary departments and advanced reforms at undergraduate, postgraduate, and institutional levels. As a Senior Fellow of AdvanceHE (SFHEA), her contributions to teaching and educational leadership are internationally recognised.

Her research examines human-centred, empathy-driven leadership and the conditions shaping leadership outcomes. She has secured competitive funding exceeding $115,000, including support from the Stevens Initiative at the Aspen Institute for a cross-cultural virtual exchange on empathetic leadership. She welcomes supervision inquiries related to human-centred leadership, organisational culture and belonging, and governance and policy influences on educational change.
