Short Bio

Dr. Nahia is an assistant professor of mathematics at the British University in Dubai. She completed her master’s degree in mathematics at the Doctoral School of Science and Technology of the Lebanese University. She got a grant from the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and the Lebanese National Council for Scientific Research to carry on a Ph.D. in applied mathematics. She received her doctoral degree from Paris-Est University in 2015.

Dr. Nahia is actively engaged in research, and her research interests can be divided into two tracks: the first is applying mathematics to quantum chemistry, and the second is decision sciences, together with programming and numerical analysis.
