Learning Outcomes- Electro-Mechanical Engineering

—   Acquire knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and engineering-related sciences required to model and solve real life electro-mechanical engineering problems.

—   Acquire knowledge of the design, conduct and analysis of experiments in a scientific and systemic way to identify the optimum running conditions for engineering systems.

—   Identify, formulate, and optimise operations and service systems based on objective performance engineering functions and constraints.

—   Use modern tools to analyse, improve, and optimise engineering systems.

—   Design, plan and control integrated electrical power systems, electronic devices, engineering process, and service systems to meet key performance indicators.

—   Understand the professional and ethical responsibilities of engineers.

—   Function effectively in multi-functional, multi-disciplinary project teams.

—   Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with people of different backgrounds and education levels.

—   Recognise the need for and the ability to engage in life-long learning.
