Mira graduated from the American University of Beirut (AUB) with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Human Resources. She has 12 years’ experience in the educational sector as well as 6 years’ experience in the financial sector (including as a Finance Officer for the Fakih Institute of Reproductive Sciences and Technologies).
She has extensive experience in the Office of Admissions at AUB, becoming Senior Student Recruitment Officer in 2010. In 2018 she joined the University of Balamand Dubai as the Director of Admissions and Student Recruitment. In this senior role, she handles the responsibilities of managing all recruitment and admission activities (for both undergraduate and postgraduate students), including coordinating and implementing various recruitment programmes.
Ahmed Joined BUiD in 2013 as a Social Media Executive. Before joining he was working as a Customer Service Representative at Etisalat. He was born in the UAE where he has a Diploma in Computer Studies. Later on he decided to pursue a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Psychology, Heriot Watt University.
We provide the communications, marketing & external relations function of the University. Staff promote BUiD at local, regional and international levels and to a variety of stakeholders – students, industry, government and higher education. We maintain the university’s website and social media, produce a variety of publications, and run events and campaigns to encourage people to engage with BUiD.
Samar graduated from the University of Jordan with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. Samar has more than 12 years of experience in marketing and communication in the educational sector.
Samar joined The British University in Dubai as a Marketing Assistant in November 2010 and currently leads the Marketing team handling the marketing, public relation and events. Before moving to the UAE Samar was living in Canada. She held similar positions in Canada and UAE between 2006-2009.
Samer obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Administrative Sciences (majoring in Marketing) from Yarmouk University, Jordan. He has completed a MBA degree from Istanbul Okan University, Turkey. He has attended various professional courses and obtained Level-7 Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership from Ofqual UK. He has worked in several jobs during his career in different countries, including Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, which include various fields in customer service, sales, marketing, real estate, and business development. He also has experience in establishing small and medium enterprises (SMEs)
Tanisha obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications from Mahatma Gandhi University, India in 2020. She is currently pursuing MSc International Business Management in Marketing at Heriot Watt University Dubai. Previously she has held the position of IT and Media Assistant for a cosmetic company.
Having spent five years in UAE higher education sector, Muhammad joined BUiD in February 2015 as faculty administrator and he was involved in effective administration support for postgraduate Programmes in the Faculty of Business and Law. Currently, He leads the admission team to support applicants to get admitted to Postgraduate Programmes offered by The British University in Dubai.
Dina obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Ajman University. Dina previously worked at Ajman University as Student Recruitment and Admissions Assistant where she gained experience in the University’s student operations and recruitment.
Nadine is a Canadian/Lebanese Biotechnology Graduate and has completed a Masters of Business Administration degree specializing in General Management. She was previously working in GEMS Wellington International School in Dubai as Learning Support Assistant.
In 2009, Christine started working at BUiD as a Resource and Library Assistant. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Bachelor’s degree in Commerce. At present, she is the Research Programmes Officer. She is responsible for overseeing a wide range of services throughout the entire student life cycle. She is also involved in handling general issues including progress monitoring of doctoral students and arrangements of their assessments.

Godwin joined BUiD in 2009 and holds a Phd degree in Business Management. At present, Godwin is involved in high level administration support for university assessments with board of examiners meetings including Undergraduate, Masters and PhD in all the faculties of BUiD. He also handles the general issues related to MSc Students progression and dissertations.
Hamza recently graduated from BUiD with a degree in Artificial Intelligence. During his time at the university, he actively participated as a Bachelor Senate Governor and Student Representative, providing counsel to the university council on academic affairs, including academic regulations, teaching and learning strategies, and programme development.
Maria Kopteva is currently working as UG Student Officer at BUiD. Maria is having administrative role experiences at different universities in Russia before she arrives to the UAE.
Maria holds a bachelor degree in Law and advanced qualification as mediator.
