  • Aug. 13, 2008- Senior Lecturer of Science Education – British University in Dubai, Dubai, UAE, College of Education. Primary responsibilities include teaching science education modules, develop science education modules in the EdD, MEd, Post Graduate Diploma in Education programs, supervise student teachers, participate in college and university committees, provide outreach services to community, and conduct research and scholarly work.
  • 2007-2008 Associate Professor (Fulbright Scholar) – United Arab Emirates University, Al Ain, Department of Curriculum & Instruction. Primary responsibilities included fulfilling a Fulbright Scholar Exchange award to teach capstone science education and curriculum classes, conduct research, write grant proposals, and provide services.
  • April 2006 Tenured Associate Professor – Granted tenure and promoted to an associate professor of science education while working at the University of Akron, Ohio, USA.
