Energy Auditors perform evaluations of energy efficiency in extensive buildings and industrial sites. The primary objective of an auditor is to furnish their client with a comprehensive report that includes survey findings, risk reduction strategies, action plans, and a conclusive analysis that assesses the feasibility of investments. Numerous auditors adhere to established codes and guidelines, such as ASHRAE Standard 211-2018, which governs energy audits for commercial buildings.

Education Work Experience
4-year engineering/architectural degree OR Professional Engineer (PE) OR Registered Architect (RA)* AND 3+ Years related* experience
4-year unrelated degree AND 4+ years related* experience
2-year associate degree AND 5+ years related* experience
NONE AND 10+ years related* experience
Current Status of Certified Energy Manager (CEM®),Business Energy Professional (BEP®), or Certified Energy Procurement Professional (CEP®) AND 3+ years related* experience
