BUiD academic staff co- publishes a research paper in the Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence journal

Dr Nahia Mourad, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, co- authored research titled, ‘Dynamic localization based-utility decision approach under type-2 Pythagorean fuzzy set for developing internet of modular self-reconfiguration robot things’ in the Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence journal.

the study proposes a novel decision-based approach for evaluating and ranking the Internet of Modular Robot Things (IoMRT). There is a significant research gap in evaluating and ranking IoMRT due to its diversity of functionalities and data variability. A novel decision-based approach is proposed, which consists of three phases: developing a weighting method called T2PFS-FWZICbIP, formulating a decision matrix, and developing a ranking method called T2PFS-DNMA. The results show that Distributed functionality has the highest weight value, while High-Fidelity functionality has the lowest.
