Hend El Mohandes publishes a research in the Biomedical Engineering journal


Hend ElMohandes, Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Engineering and IT, along with a group of researcher published a research in the Biomedical Engineering journal titled, “A multi‑Kalman filter‑based approach for decoding arm kinematics from EMG recordings”.

In the research ElMohandes and Seif Eldawlatly, Josep Marcel Cardona Audí, Roman Ruff5 and Klaus‑Peter Hoffmann propose an EMG-based multi-Kalman filter approach to decode arm kinematics; specifically, the elbow angle, wrist joint horizontal and vertical positions in a continuous and simultaneous manner.
