BUiD’s Professor Publishes her reserch in the Journal of Asian Architecture and Building Engineering

Professor Hanan Taleb, Professor in Sustainable Design of Built Enviroment, and Rudy Moarbesb published their research, titled ‘ Improving illuminance performance by implementing a kinetic façade system: case study of office building in Dubai’ in the Journal of Asian Architecture and Building Engineering.

The study investigated the advantages of employing a kinetic façade system and achieving a comfort illuminance level. A G + 7 office building was chosen as the case study for this research. The paper provided a more detailed analysis on integrating kinetic system in the façade of buildings and achieving visual comfort.
