BUiD’s academic staff publishes his research in Education and Information Technologies journal

Dr Mostafa Al-Emran, Assistant Professor in Computer Science, with Maryam N. Al-Nuaimi, Ibrahim Arpaci, Mohammed A. Al-Sharafi, and Bokolo Anthony Jnr. published their research titled, ‘Towards a wearable education: Understanding the determinants affecting students’ adoption of wearable technologies using machine learning algorithms’ in the Education and Information Technologies journal.

The research aims to propose a theoretical research model through the integration of the theory of planned behaviour (TPB) and protection motivation theory (PMT) to understand the students’ behavioural intention to use smartwatches in learning activities.
